Exercise In Numbers

Exercise in Numbers!!

Research shows that exercising with a friend or two can create lasting exercise patterns. Without even realizing it, group exercise can increase pain tolerance, thus allowing you to work through the discomforts and get more work accomplished. Working out with friends provides social benefits as well. Each of you can motivate each other to do their best, all while catching up on the latest gossip or family news. This can actually make exercise FUN! (Yes you read correctly- I did use EXERCISE and FUN in the same sentence) So, grab a friend and come on in to Team Care and get started with an exercise regimen! If you don’t have an exercise partner, strike up a conversation with the person on the machine next to you or one of our team care workers; I promise the conversation will make the time go by faster and you’ll get more accomplished than you ever thought you would!

*If you aren’t a member of the gym yet, Buddy Rates are offered for 12-month contracts and are cheaper than individual rates. For 2 people, its $70.00/mo. ($35.00 per person) and for 3 people, its $102.00/mo ($34.00 per person). That’s another great benefit of EXERCISE IN NUMBERS!!

Starting the Summer Off Hydrated

*STARTING THE SUMMER OFF HYDRATED*

I am sure as the days go by your garden, lawn, and farm will thirst for rain; but will your body suffer? You may not have control over mother-nature but you definitely can control your body’s hydration. Drinking water throughout the day is very beneficial. While taking in the recommended amount of the cool, no added preservatives beverage, you can prevent the one devastating risk factor, which can be deadly, for the hot summer months-DEHYDRATION!!!
Glasses of water in the morning re-hydrate your body for the day ahead. If consumed before, during, and after meals water prevents you from overeating and induces blood volume so you can have a great performance outcome during exercise and/or physical activity. Team Care offers water to you, so bring your water bottles and fill-up when necessary!
HEY! Water also cuts inches!
TIP: Avoid caffeinated tea, coffee, and soda before your workout. Those drinks dehydrate your body and cause for more water consumption. Here at Team Care we want you to have an effective, safe, and EXCELLENT workout!!!

Thanks for Tuning in,
Sam
